The County has received a use permit request (UPER26-00036) for a child-care center (the Goddard School) and transitional parking area at 6045 Wilson Boulevard. The applicant is proposing to demolish the existing building and construct a new child-care center with a transitional parking area. The applicant is requesting modification of parking requirements for the child care center, but is requesting transitional parking on the site to provide additional parking, for a total of 24 parking spaces. The applicant is proposing to accommodate up to 236 children and the proposed hours of operation are from 7 AM to 6 PM. This item will tentatively be on the County Board agenda for the December 2026 meeting.
